There is a chance. I was told many years ago that garlic eaten regular helps fight your body against cancer.

The short answer is yes, it does happen. However, there are many factors that determine the probability of a cure, including:
    - How many organs/systems/tissues are affected?
    - What kind of cancer? What stage of cancer?
    - Are there other diseases/conditions present?
    - What is the mental state of the patient? Do they want to fight this?
    - What is the extent of the patient’s support system?
    - What is the general success rate of treatment for the cancer?

There are more, but this gives you an idea of all of the variables involved. And to add to it, there are always the exceptions: patients who beat the odds. For more information about your cancer try the American Cancer Society at, or one of the various links from a Google search. There are a multitude of specialty sites for cancer in general or specific. Many have links to support groups or chat sessions where you can talk with people going through treatment for the cancer you are interested in.

A friend of mine had cancer, it spread, he went through chemo (he was eating really healthy, staying away from any form of Lazar computer, phones microwave.) He went for a scan and they found nothing. It is very possible.

My husband had lymphoma for a year before he was diagnosed, by the time they found out what it was he had it everywhere , his bones, his spleen everywhere that was nine years ago and after two bonemarrow transplants he is now in remission for a second time so yes, depending on the type of cancer.

Yes, I had colon cancer 6 years ago. They gave me a 50/50 chance.
I am still here thanks to lots of prayers.
Doctors may not cure you but the Master can Heal you.

It all depends on the stage and the part thats affected. If its the first or second stage the prognosis is really good. Prognosis is not good if its spread to other parts. Again the part thats affected has to be removed if possible. Future care needs to be taken although no doctors can promise you that it will not re-occur. But if it doesnt re-occur in 5 years. He/ she is as good as a normal person. Take it one day at a time. God bless.

so far so good for Lance Armstrong.

Lance had cancer in his lungs, brain, testicle and elsewhere and he has healed up well enough to win multiple Tour de France races. Life doesn’t get much more demanding than this type bicycle racing. I just wish more types of metastatic cancer would respond so successfully.

Absolutely! Those who tell you it depends on this or that are right, to a point.

People go into remission for many reasons and sometimes for no reason that anyone can figure out.

So, while the odds for or against a cure may have a number, those odds do not apply to individuals, but to a group. When thinking about survival, the only percentages that matter are 0 and 100.

Personally, I focus on 100. The time may come when I stop thinking that way, but it hasn’t come yet.

I’ve written my will, but I have ideas for my 25th anniversary party–and I’m not married yet!

cancer of any kind cannot be cured it can be treated and can go into remission .. but not cured..i have cancer and the doctors say its not when it will return it is where. says it all comes back.

There is no cure. you can go into remission. It also depends on what type of cancer and the stage and your mental and physical health. My mother had stomach cancer, they removed her entire stomach. she lived for 3 years after her surgery. she went into remission and it came back. if it spread and is contained in an organ chances are better but once in the actual blood stream they can tell you that you have 3 months to live but die in 3 days.
    My prayers are with you.
