how can you tell if you have it because i have had a couple of lumps i found and if i touch them they absolutely kill and make me feel sick! i know i wont have cancer but anyway how can you tell without being checked out in case i do get it in the future? x

well first of all if you have lumps. anywhere on your body. you should get it checked out. for your own piece of mind. on the question of lumps your doctor will be able to offer you the best advice. good luck.

There is no way you know if a lump is cancer or not or even if you have it internally. A doctor needs to tell you this–by taking tests–possibly even a biopsy

Well, where are the lumps? Are they in your breast or lymph nodes, or neck. Either way I did not palpate them and could not say. If you are concerned you should seek a proffessional. Cancer does not have an age limit and regardless of who you are or family history, we are all at risk.

Trust me on this. No one can tell if it’s cancer by feeling it.
I did lots of “internet research” on my lumps and decided they were cysts.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few weeks ago and start chemo next week.
If you have lumps that don’t go away after 2 weeks, go to the doctor. Period.
