Natural anti aging skin care products are the best anti aging skin care lotions and creams. Indeed, naturally occurring compounds are always the best, but synthetics are cheaper and that’s why manufacturers use them.

The subject of anti aging natural skin care products seems fascinating to many people. The cosmetic companies have brainwashed us with their commercials, their advertising, their labeling and their pretty bottles.

People had known for centuries of the reality of anti aging natural skin care products. They traded in the local market various roots, medicinal plants, spices and natural remedies from other regions. People could buy and learn about diverse natural products in their local markets. Nevertheless, there were unscrupulous snake oil salesmen in the marketplace on those days as there are today.

The most effective anti aging natural skin care products are derived from plants, fruits, vegetables, seeds, oils and waxes that have been in existence for thousands of years. But, don’t rely on today’s cosmetic companies to give you good advice.

Most cosmetic companies are no better than the snake oil salesmen, although they are still in business because they use marketing techniques that entice and captivate their customers, like the worn- out phrase “new and improved anti aging skin care”. By exploiting this advertising trick that has been used for years, they still lure in unsuspecting customers.

Instead of something new and improved, the consumers should be made aware that the companies are introducing only “tried and true” methods for attracting customers, but they are not selling the best or the safest anti aging natural skin care products. The Food and Drug Administration is the organization that regulates the cosmetic industry in the US, but it uses different methods than the ones used for the food and drugs.

Since cosmetics are not to be taken internally; they don’t have to be safe. Just a few ingredients are prohibited. With regards to the use of the term “natural”, the substances only need to be naturally occurring. But, some naturally occurring substances are bad for your skin’s health. Others substances are suspected of being carcinogenic, and a few are “known” to cause cancer and birth defects, but the companies keep still using them.

The best anti aging skin care systems do not contain any ingredients that could be unsafe to your skin’s health. You want to improve your skin’s health with products that help create new cells, new collagen and elastin fibers.

If it is not a healthy product, it won’t improve your skin. Production of cells, new collagen and elastin fibers will continue to decline unless you find superior anti aging natural skin care products.

Read the labels and check their ingredients. There are some things you should avoid when buying anti aging natural skin care products. The full list is extensive and contains a number of unidentifiable and difficult to remember chemical names. Some undesirable ingredients are relatively easy to spot, once you know what to look for, and they are commonly used in cosmetics and skincare products of all kinds.

Mineral oils, petrolatum, paraffin, liquid paraffin and paraffin wax should be avoided for many reasons, but when it comes to the best anti aging skin care they inhibit the skin’s ability to regenerate. Fragrances and preservatives are the most common allergens, and parabens are the most commonly used preservatives. They have been linked to cancer in numerous studies.

Anti aging natural skin care products should include natural vitamin E, because it moisturizes and provides a series of benefits, but also because it is a natural preservative. We can get more into this subject in further articles.

A rare but very aggressive type of cancer is Inflammatory breast cancer. The mortality rate for Inflammatory breast cancer is higher than that for most other cancers. Contrary to its name, it doesn’t occur because of some inflammation; rather, inflammation is just a symptom in IBC. It is not confined to older women and can develop in very young women, too. Men are not totally protected from IBC, even though their risk is too low.

There are lymph vessels in the breasts. When a person develops IBC, the malignant cancerous cells block these vessels. IBC develops in women at a younger age, compared to other forms of breast cancer. Some studies also suggest that White people are less likely to develop this cancer than the African Americans, who are also said to be vulnerable at a younger age.

The progression of IBC is its most alarming feature. The time lapse between the first symptom appearing and the cancer reaching a very advanced stage may be leek than two weeks. This however, may be one of the reasons for early diagnosis of IBC, since the symptoms are very apparent early on due to the cancer’s fast advancement.

The unique characteristic of Inflammatory breast cancer is that no lump formation is associated with it. This characteristic makes it all the more dangerous, because mammography and ultrasound can not detect it, and it often goes undiagnosed, or misdiagnosed. Biopsy is the best method for diagnosing IBC.

The typical attributes of Inflammatory breast cancer are extreme redness, purple-ish bruised appearance, and swelling of the breast, which makes it look inflamed, hence the cancer’s name. The blocking of the lymph vessels by the cancer cells is the reason for both redness and swelling. Continual itching, a fast and constant increase in size of the breast, inverted nipples, tenderness, aches, heavy and burning sensations are all associated with Inflammatory breast cancer. Sometimes, the skin of the breast may also appear pitted, medically called peau d’orange, and this is due to swelling and accumulation of fluids. Also, the areola or the skin around the nipple can change in color, the skin of the nipple can swell, and lymph nodes on either side of the collarbone and under the arm can swell.

The most common misdiagnosis of Inflammatory breast cancer is mastitis. Mastitis is just a breast infection that shows the same symptoms like redness and swelling, as IBC. After a week or two of treatment for mastitis, your symptoms should start disappearing; otherwise, it’s not mastitis. Lymph vessels can get blocked because of other reasons than cancer, too, such as operations on the chest. This is not any type of cancer. The best way of making sure is getting a biopsy done.

The mortality rate for IBC used to be 100% some decades back. Now, due to great advancement in technology, it has dropped down to 30% to 50%. Systemic therapy is a great treatment option with both chemotherapy and hormone therapy tried. This is usually followed by a surgery - neoadjuvant therapy - which should ideally be followed by mastectomy. Radiation therapy following the above combination of treatments reduces the chances of a redevelopment of cancer greatly.

Through all the misery of Inflammatory breast cancer, you should remember the figures of mortality rate decreasing immensely. These indicate that you have a great chance of fighting if off and being happy like all other people that you know.

According to the majority of available resources breast cancer is defined as “cancer of the breast tissue”. This doesn’t give someone diagnosed with the disease much to go on. But after conducting additional research the answer becomes much more understandable. Cancer is a malignant growth. It is caused by abnormal and completely uncontrollable division of cells. Normal cells begin to be misshapen and start to grow at an extremely fast pace. What occurs is a mass or either a lump that continues to grow and can actually spread all over the body.

Not each breast lump that is found is cancerous. Actually, the majority of lumps are determined to be benign. Once these lumps have reached a certain size they start to level off. They could be soft fluid filled cysts, they could be fibroadenomas that neither spread nor grow, they could also be scar tissue or fat that has become hard.

But a true cancer in breast tissues is malignant and serious. Nearly 90% are a type known as ductal carcinoma (sometimes called DCIS, ductal carcinoma in situ). Somewhat less than 10% of the rest are lobular carcinomas (LCIS). In both cases lumps may appear as a thickening in some part of the breast, or even in the armpit. Lymph nodes are located there and sometimes play a role in the development of the disease.

It is recommended that individuals begin performing self breast exams around age 20, and that individuals get regular mammograms beginning at the age of 40..

An individual should not be alarmed at every single breast change, however a significant alteration in the size or shape of the breast following maturity is one sign to look for. Fluid might also seep from the nipple that does not resemble milk. In the event that it is cancer it will usually be a type of pus, thus indicating an infection.

An individual’s nipple or areola might also alter in shape and size.

Breast cancer develops in stages that mark the disease progression.

Stage 0 is when the condition first occurs, Stage I exists when the tumor is less than 2cm thick and hasn’t spread. By Stage II the tumor is between 2-5cm thick and there may be other areas affected. Once the disease reaches Stage III it has penetrated the chest wall. By that level, treatment becomes very difficult and the survival rate is correspondingly low.

Stage IV cancer is the most serious of all. At this point the individual’s cancer has started to spread, forming tumors in other areas. These tumors are identical to the original cancerous growth. Cancers of this type are typically fatal.

Because of these stages, and the increasing health consequences at each level, seeking diagnosis and treatment early is imperative. A simple lumpectomy may well cure the condition completely. If it progresses to the point that chemotherapy or radiation treatments are called for, the odds of recover are much lower and the cure is often as bad as the disease.

Fortunately, enormous progress has been made over the past 40 years. The latest equipment allows for much better diagnosis. Treatments have evolved to make the cure less painful and more certain.

Cancer at any stage is definitely something to be concerned with, however there is a 95% survival rate for individual’s whose cancer is quickly identified and treated by Stage I. You have a greater chance of survival if you monitor yourself and get treatment quickly.

If you have breast cancer, it is natural to be scared, since the outcome is not certain. As your cancer advances, even the help and understanding of family members may not satisfy you. They have not experienced what you are going through, and in such cases, talking to other patients who have survived what you have will make you feel stronger and more capable of fighting back.

There are many support groups for women with breast cancer. These groups have been initiated and run by previous breast cancer patients and survivors, and by women who are still undergoing treatment. They provide all the relevant information needed for the treatment and coping of your cancer. These women will understand your problems and fears perfectly, having themselves gone through the same phase as you, and will give you a new hope where treatment seemed just a dreaded task to get done with. Your solitude will disappear within minutes, and you’ll find yourself discovering new friends in these women.

Susan G. Komen’s breast cancer support organization, cms.komen.org, has its own research team which works very hard to provide better treatment options for you, along with information and news updates on cancer research, and countless breast cancer victims and activists who tend to you and your problems like your best friend would. Breast cancer support, bcsupport.org, has chat rooms which give you a platform to meet women who can understand your fears and women who are going through or have gone through the same emotions you go through.

Two women diagnosed with breast cancer realized the needs and hardships faced by breast cancer victims, and in 1988 started breastcancersupport.com for helping women like them with breast cancer issues. There are so many people in the world who want to help you with your problems because they know how it feels; all that you have to do is look around and as for that help!

These organizations will not give you a magical power to fight breast cancer. They just let you know that you are not the only one going through these miseries, and that, in no manner, do you have to be the only one to face them. They stand by you, cheer you up, and see you through it through the sheer power of understanding. You, too, will find yourself developing affection for them, and might even want to volunteer to help other scared women, just by being friends with them. This will give you a mental strength for surviving your treatment, more than you can now imagine.

Support groups are not limited to providing you emotional support; in case of financial needs, many people will volunteer donations for your treatment, just as you might, some day when you are cured, for another woman. There is no reason why you should stay lonely and fight this when you have so many people who willingly want to stand by you.

Experts agree that for most breast cancer cases, chemotherapy is not the first treatment of choice. But for those for whom it is appropriate, it can provide effective, long term results.

Chemotherapy involves using drugs to fight off cancer. As the pharmacology industry becomes more advanced, the drugs used in chemotherapy are now safer, more targeted for specific cancer types, have a greater level of effectiveness, and also have far fewer side effects as drugs utilized in the past. Today, using a drug cocktail is typically used to curb an individual’s side effects and providing treatment that is more effective.

Chemotherapy drugs work by inhibiting the ability of a cell to divide quickly. One of the major characteristics of cancer is that cells grow quickly and out of control by dividing abnormal cells that are located within the cancerous tissue.

Usually Chemotherapy is utilized when an individual’s cancer has be advanced and requires a treatment that is more rigorous so that it more efficiently and more effectively eliminates cancerous cells. Clumps of cancer cells can grow and spread to other areas. When this occurs it is often indicative that chemotherapy should be utilized.

Cancers can come back. The causes of this is not currently understood. In some instances it could be that the original cancer was not completely eradicated. It could also be the case that the true cause that originally generated the cancerous tumor is still both active and present, causing the cancer to show itself. Whatever the reason is, Chemotherapy is typically used.

One of the major complications associated with chemotherapy is the side effects. Even though the drugs are beginning to improve, chemotherapy treatments can from time to time affect an individual’s healthy cells in addition to the ones that are cancerous.

Since some of that function is to fight disease such as the cancer itself, a double harm occurs. Radiation therapy has a similar drawback in that it compromises the immune system, which is part of what helps to fight the cancer and its effects.

Sometimes an individual will experience issues with their digestive system. Side effects might include nausea, hair loss, and even poor composition of bone marrow. Bone marrow is necessary for a lot of different functions of the body. More importantly it aids in the creation of both red and white blood cells.

Damage to heart, kidney and other organs is possible, though this is uncommon since cells in these organs don’t divide as frequently under natural circumstances. In some studies, memory and concentration loss were associated with chemotherapy treatments. Older female patients often find the reproductive cycle altered, bringing on premature menopause. ‘Female patients’ is specified here since men, too, can contract breast cancer.

The chemotherapy drugs used today are easily tolerated and more specific to cancer type than the drugs of the past. They help to cut off vessels responsible for feeding the tumors with blood, and encouraging growth in the vessel. There are many different ways chemotherapy is administered. Each patient has a regimen designed specifically for them.

Even though it is not a pleasant experience chemotherapy offers people the chance to fight agains a disease that was once always fatal. Today cancer is a disease that can be survived long term with very few long term side effects. All of this is courtesy of chemotherapy.

The prospect of surgery is never pleasant. But fortunately, breast cancer surgery today is more targeted than in years past. That leads to less scarring and quicker recovery, at the same time providing an effective treatment to lower the odds of recurrence.

Tools used to diagnose cancer are now more precise because the disease is understood on a greater level. Normal methods still largely apply, but they aren’t automatically used. Each case of cancer is different and analyzed differently. Breast cancer patients now have choices and are able to become active participants in the decision making process regarding their surgery.

One of the most common choices made is known as a lumpectomy. Just what it sounds like, a lumpectomy is the surgical removal of the lump that constitutes the cancer tumor. Even here there are a wide range of choices. The amount of tissue removed around the lump varies. Surgeons make a judgment call about how much is needed to reduce the chances of the cancer returning.

Depending upon where the tumor is located, its size, and how long it has been growing a surgeon might have to remove one or more lymph nodes during the lumpectomy process. Lymph nodes are bean-sized glands that are typically oval in shape. They operate as part of a system that operates throughout the body. Lymph nodes are necessary in the immune system. Lymph nodes help to fight off bacteria and the invasion of foreign bodies.

Once cancer has reached and infected a lymph node the cancer can easily and quickly spread all over the body through the blood vessels connecting the lymph nodes together. If this occurs it can make cancer extremely difficult to treat. Often times chemotherapy and even radiation treatments are necessary at this stage.

To reduce the chances of this occurring, surgeons usually remove one or more of the lymph nodes that are located close to a cancerous tumor. Lab tests are then conducted to check to see if the cancer has spread. Again each case is different and the options and actions should be discussed with the medical team involved.

Like other cancer types breast cancer also develops in different stages. The stages are determined by size and tumor type, and also tumor location. When breast cancer reaches a point that it is necessary surgery beyond a lumpectomy might be required. The patient and the doctor could determine that a partial or segmental mastectomy is needed.

In that procedure more breast tissue is removed than in a simple lumpectomy. In many cases radiation therapy may be part of the follow up treatment regimen, often extending for six or eight weeks. The goal is to ensure that all the cancer was removed, or that any remaining malignant tissue the surgeon was unable to get is destroyed by the radiation.

In cases that are more extreme, which are not as likely today, a mastectomy might be performed. The majority or all of the breast is removed. When no lymph nodes are removed the procedure is called either total or simple mastectomy. When all of the breast tissue has been removed in addition to the nipple and lymph nodes in the armpit the surgery is called a modified radical mastectomy.

When the surgeon is forced to remove the chest wall muscles also the procedure is referred to as a radical mastectomy. Luckily this action is extreme and usually not necessary today. When it is required reconstructive surgery and prosthetics can often be used to restore an individuals appearance completely.

A person’s length of stay in the hospital will vary depending upon the treatment that they undergo. These treatments can vary anywhere from outpatient surgery where a person is released the same day to a week for procedures that might be more intense. You have to find a physician that is willing to work with you to answer any and all of your questions in terms you will understand. This is the first step to ensuring for yourself proper treatment.

Antiaging Skin Cream

The use of anti aging skin care products usually does not begin until a person reaches their forties. But, if you know some younger kids, tell them that it is never too early to begin using antiaging skin cream, as long as you choose the right ones.

A while back the primary concern was television and the top 40, but these concerns have been replaced by piles of cosmetics, jars of vitamins, and enticing exercise tapes. At the beginning, when you notice that first crease around your mouth or across your forehead as you stand in front of the mirror, you despair and get depressed with the thought that you are “over the hill”.

Relax. New advances in anti aging skin care can help diminish the appearance of those creases or wrinkles.

Some people believe that physical appearance has nothing to do with being over the hill. While this phrase might seem encouraging or uplifting, it will probably not help you with regards to how attractive you feel. The right antiaging skin cream can help you feel more attractive.

If you have children, you might want them to know that anti aging skin care is actually a lifelong process and the sooner they incorporate that in their daily hygiene routine the better the chances. I believe it is not too late for you indeed, but if they start early they can protect their skin’s health, improve their appearance and probably prolong their life spans.

Researchers believe that before the age of 20, the skin damage that eventually leads to cancer has already started. It is imperative to wear sunscreen, but it is also essential to reapply it on a regular basis, whether you are planning to be in the water or not.

You should not see an SPF rating on an antiaging skin cream, however, because these products are designed for daily use. Sunscreens should only be used when you expect to spend more than 15 minutes in the sun. They inhibit the natural tanning process and therefore protect the deepest of the skin’s layers from damage.

Oxygen causes the damage known as wrinkles. Oxygen is unavoidable. When oxygen runs into the skin’s surface, it doesn’t interact well with the molecules there. It causes a chain reaction on the molecular level that is commonly referred to as free radical production. In order to be effective, anti aging skin care has to do something about those free radicals.

UV radiation from the sun speeds up the production and the damage done by free radicals. The best ingredients for an antiaging skin cream are a group of nutrients known as antioxidants.

There are many antioxidants. Vitamin E and C are two of the most common. C does not seem to work very well for the skin, although things that contain the vitamin, such as avocado, are effective for increasing the production of new skin-cells.

So far, the best antioxidant they have found for anti aging skin care is coenzyme Q10. It took a while to find a form that could be readily and easily absorbed, but now they have an antiaging skin cream called Nano-Lipobelle that penetrates through seven of the skin’s layers and scientists can literally “see” the free radicals being neutralized.

There are other new ingredients that have contributed to the improved performance of anti aging skin care creams and lotions. COQ10 is a very important ingredient and the tip of the iceberg. Let’s keep doing the research.

When it comes to treating breast cancer there are more than a few options. There are many options that people can choose to help fight their cancer. For every stage of breast cancer, you can consider three types of treatment.

Meant for a certain area like the breast or lymph nodes, instead of the entire body, diagnosis of breast cancer is normally done by some form of surgery like a biopsy. When it is discovered there are two types of surgery that can be performed. One is the mastectomy where the entire breast is removed, and the other is a partial mastectomy, where only part of the breast is removed. These two options are considered effective for women with breast cancer that is not that big in diameter. For women with a single tumor larger, partial mastectomy may still be an idea if chemotherapy is able to shrink the cancer enough before surgery.

Cancer in advanced stages can spread to adjoining organs and other parts of the body. To get rid of malignant cells elsewhere, systemic therapy is a safe treatment. Systemic therapy helps shrink the cancerous tumor and can possibly lead to remission of the malignant tissues, which is beneficial for all.

The stage and progression of cancer is a heavy factor in this treatment. If the cancer has become very advanced and harmful, it probably has spread outside the breast, even in remote areas which can not be treated efficiently, thus treatment becomes harder and less effective.

Therapies are taken by either a pill or even sometimes by injection. Chemotherapy can be administered by either way and is used to destroy cancer cells that it finds. Immune therapy is widely unknown and not used as much as the other therapies just because it is new. It works the same way that getting a flu shot works, it makes the body think that something is attacking it, so that it was use its defense systems which are the while blood cells to fight the infection, or whatever the problem may be.

Complementary therapy is a new approach that many people are taking more and more to each day. It is meant to help put the body back into a healthy balance so that it can start to self heal. A lot of people will swear by this, saying that by using what is considered “unconventional” methods such as chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, yoga and taking herbal remedies has greatly affected their breast cancer and has helped many to feel better during the course of their treatment. You really have nothing to lose trying this while accepting other methods of treatment, if it means it can have a healthy impact on your body.

Breast cancer is a cancer that affects the breast tissue. The primary victims of this type of cancer are females. Statistics show that approximately one out of 11 to 12 women of the Western world are affected by breast cancer. Medical researches have tried aggressively to find a solution to detect the problem earlier or to treat the problem. About 20 percent of the women affected by breast cancer still fall prey to it and eventually die. In fact, breast cancer ranks second in cancer deaths for women.

Most breast cancer starts in the cells that line up the ducts. There are occasions where the cancer cells originate from the lobules, and then spread to other tissues.

Many breast cancer diagnosis starts in the checking of lumps I the breast. Although most cases of lumps are benign, meaning they are not cancerous, but doctors often ask a patient to undergo biopsy to make sure that cells are not malignant. Most of the lumps are caused by cysts. These lumps may cause pain and swelling of the breast accompanied at times by clear or cloudy discharge in the nipple which happens before the menstrual cycle period is about to begin in a woman. The symptoms may lead to the person to seek a medical check-up.

Breast cancer is not limited to women though; male victims are present as well. The breast of both male and female have identical tissues, so a man is also prone to acquiring the cancer. It is believed that females are more prone to men because the breast of a woman constantly goes through growth changing hormones, thus the cells are more exposed to cancerous change.

Most breast pain or painful breast lump can be a case of early breast cancer. Since breast mammography started, breast cancer is most frequently discovered as an nodule that causes no symptom on a mammogram, before any symptoms are present. The probability of breast cancer rises with age, but breast cancer tends to be more aggressive when it occurs in younger people

Male Breast Cancer Symptoms

Underdeveloped as they may be, men too have breast tissues. This means men are prone to developing breast cancer too, just like females, even though their risk is about a hundred times lesser than females. About 1% of breast cancer cases are those of male breast cancer.

When a man has risk factors for male breast cancer, the breast tissues may start developing cancer cells, and he may get breast cancer. There is no age requisite for male breast cancer to occur, however, men between 60 years to 70 years of age are most vulnerable. Exposure to radiation is a common male breast cancer risk factor. Also, the risk goes high if there is a family history of breast cancer. Men with Klinefelter’s disease and cirrhosis have high risks too. Klinefelter’s is when a man abnormally has two X chromosomes instead of one. Cirrhosis comes with high levels of estrogen, which is a big male breast cancer risk factor. Also, men with weight and alcohol problems are more prone to developing breast cancer.

About 30% cases of male breast cancer are due to heredity, compared to just 5% to 10% in females. Breast cancer genes - BRCA1 and BRCA2 can increase the risk of men developing breast cancer, if the genes show defects or mutation. Genetic mutation is usually not inherited, and is acquired during the course of your life. Radiation therapies or operations may be one cause for these mutations.

Just as in females, the presence of a lump is a symptom for male breast cancer. It is often painless, and may be occur along with increasing thickness of breasts. The breast skin may appear pitted and show the peau d’orange syndrome. Changes in the nipple, fluid discharge from nipples, inverted nipples, redness around the nipples, and change in the breast skin texture are all symptoms of male breast cancer.

You should instantly get an enlarged breast or other abnormalities examined. For diagnosis, clinical breast examination, biopsies, mammograms, breast ultrasounds, even nipple discharge examination can be adopted. Mammograms are said to work better in men than in women because females have a dense breast tissue which makes the process difficult. If the biopsy reveals cancer cell presence, getting the breast tissue tested for presence of estrogen and progesterone is a good idea, since these female hormones can stimulate cancer growth, as is the case with 80% to 90% male breast cancer cases, and can be stopped at source.

If the diagnosed breast cancer has not spread outside the original site, that is, if it is in situ, a mastectomy gives great results. If the cancer is invasive, which means it has metastasized outside the site where the cancer started developing, doctors test it to see how much it has advanced. There are four stages, Stage I being the most curable and more reactive to treatment, and Stage IV meaning the cancer has metastasized beyond the stage where a certain cure is possible. This grading helps doctors determine what kind of treatment is needed for you.

Treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy and hormonal therapy are adopted to control cancer growth in the last stage, when total cure becomes difficult. For all other stages, treating male breast cancer is hardly different from treating female breast cancer.

A healthy lifestyle throughout your life, with minimal alcohol intake increases your chances of survival ten folds. Early detection is also pivotal to high survival rates. Telling your closest friends and family members is necessary. If you try to hide your disease, even from your children, you will take undue stress up on yourself. It is also important to maintain a healthy lifestyle with adequate rest during your treatment, and it is never a shame to ask friends or family for any sort of help or support that you might need. Your cancer is curable.
