Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we can’t keep our teeth completely white and stain-free. This is partially due to some lack of dental hygiene (ie brushing, flossing, etc) and our diets. Many muscle building programs are experiments or self discovered by weight lifters, which worked for that specific person who discovered it.

However, in some cases these muscle building programs don’t work. Why?

These are 4 major reasons why some muscle building programs aren’t working:

#1: Your Program Isn’t Working Every Muscle

To build muscle, it is true you need to work on building the muscle you want to grow. This will only get you so far in your training and won’t get you the results you want. You need to be working every muscle around the major muscle, which will in turn give you the most build up. Only working the muscle you want to build is like using a machine to train with. It limits your stability and all around strength. This will turn into having “fake” muscles, the ones with all show and no go. Using free weights will give you stability and the all around muscle building you need. Exercises including squats and deadlifts are the best for any muscle building.

#2: Keep it short

If your workout came from someone who lived in a gym, you researched and found the wrong program. You want to keep it as short as possible, while still getting a full workout in. Like I said before, compound exercises will do the trick. Make sure to use fewer reps and sets while adding more weight. This will ensure a good amount of resistance to tear the muscle down in a short amount of time.

#3: Where is the Resistance?

You don’t need to waste time, and you probably don’t want to. So, why not make it worth your time? Make sure you lift a significant amount of weight, around the average of 80-85% of your one rep max. Muscle building programs using less weight, with more reps and sets will be a waste of time as your muscle gaining will plane out, and you could potentially see negative results.

#4: Get Enough Rest

When you workout, remember to leave time between exercises to let your body settle and start to rebuild. Rushing to your next exercise will not benefit you, and ultimately might hurt you as it will strain the muscles.

When you are done at the gym, you should try to plan a nap in to let your body rest. At night, try to sleep as long as you can, obtaining 8 hours or more of sleep. Having this large amount of sleep will better your body for the next day. Make sure to relax during the day to prevent stress from disrupting your muscle growth.

Panic attacks are themselves part of a larger anxiety problem which displays both real and emotional manifestations. Of all the medical problems a person can have, a panic attack is probably one of the most intrusive. This article hopes to show that there are options available to panic attack sufferers.

You will have an advantage if you know what to look for if an attack is imminent and what to do about it. The symptoms of a panic attack normally follow the same pattern of the victim feeling their throat and chest tighten which leads to breathing trouble. Other symptoms include a dizzy feeling and increased heart rate which then turns into a fear that something really bad is about to occur. The fear cycle feeds itself increasing the effect of the panic attack on the victim.

Some panic attacks can be controlled but serious attacks may require you to use medication prescribed by your doctor which can help stop the attacks. I had a subscriber ask this question:

“Is it possible to achieve maximum strength power, knockout fat, sculpt lean muscle and dramatically transform my shape, if I don’t have a power rack and I only have access to a barbell? Not even an Olympic barbell, but one of those old crappy cement filled barbell sets”

I know closely the weights this guy is pointing out. I agree nearly all of us grew up with them right? They were basically cement weights covered in plastic, and over time the plastic busted up and the cement started to get busted under remember?

I believe I’m showing my age :)
To cut a long story short…

YES! You can build strength and power with archaic equipment!

You just need someone to show you how. Luckily you met me. And luckily I just read most of Dan John’s awesome “From the Ground Up”.

In this outstanding little ebook Dan John explains the “Rapid Ascent Program”, which contains three workouts:

1. Pull Move

2. Military Press

3. Front Squat

And here’s how you did the program (from his book):

“The program was incredibly simple. In the beginning, groups of four boys were given a bar. The bars were weighted from very lightit could be 25 poundsup to possibly close to 100 pounds. Each group of boys would lift one at a time, put the bar down, then the next boy would lift. The four would continually move from lifter to watcherthe bar never stopped. The three sets (explained in just a moment) would not take very longactually, at times it was hard to catch your breath in time for your next set.

The reps were very simple:

* Set Number 1 — 8 repetitions

* Second set: 6 repetitions

* Set #3: 4 reps

The goal was simple: when you got all 18 reps (8+6+4), you added weight. If you started with a bar that was too light, the next workout, you would be bumped up to the next weight and a stronger group. (Of course, actual variations could include making a whole new group with more weight, tooor whatever necessary to make the group work together).”

Seems easy doesn’t it?

That’s the beauty of this program!

You don’t need lots of equipment to build a hard body with muscles of steel… all while increasing your cardiovascular fitness and knocking out fat.

What you DO need is a little “do or die” perspective. You must make your mind up you surely WANT to reach your fitness goals, then you’ll find a way to utilize whatever equipment you have available to make it happen.

I love program in view of the fact that it follows the DoubleYourGains’ philosophy of training movement patterns rather than a bunch of exercises. The Rapid Ascent program has a press move (military press), a pull move (power clean), a squat move (front squat) and an explosive/hamstring move (power clean).

How to perform the “Rapid Ascent” program for cardio and fat loss:

Coach Dan highlights that you could also acquire a great cardio workout and nuke some fat:

“To “hurry up” the trainingas if it was necessary, there were times when Mr. Freeman recommended combining the Power Clean and Military Pressesone clean and one press, repeated for a total of eight reps. this was done with a lighter weight. One could also do the Front Squats after the clean and presses, too. I have only done this onceand it was an amazing cardiovascular workout.”

So if you think you don’t have enough equipment to get into great shape and achieve your fitness goals you are wrong. You are wrong. You are wrong.

As a matter of fact, you don’t even need a barbell. You can be on your way with the DoubleYourGains’ bodyweight program. You can do pullups on your door frame (for extra strong fingers) or just grab the top of a door and go to town (or a tree limb, anything you can hang from, and all that) Believe me, if THAT workout gets easy for you - you will be a certified STUD.

Everyone wonders how to exercise to build muscle, but eliminate the pain they get after the workout for a day or two after.

In this article, I have gone through a couple methods that can be added to your workout. They will shorten your workout time, give you a well rounded workout, and also help you build muscle stronger.

These concepts are fairly basic; however, they will help prevent those annoying pains so you can still live your life out of the gym, too.

Lactic acid can hurt your muscle building. After an hour of working out, your body will be close to using up all its oxygen in your blood. Your muscles will then start to develop lactic acid, which is not good when you are trying to avoid aching and pains. Keeping your workout time an hour or less will help to lowering the amount of pain.

To exercise to build muscle, lift lots of weight, about 80 to 85% of the max weight you can handle in one rep. Keep it short and to the point, with 3-5 reps and 3-5 sets. Every week, add weight to keep gaining muscle. To help build up muscle, lengthen your rest time, before moving onto other exercises. If you are a women and want to build strength, but not the Hulky muscles, keep your rest time shorter, but use the same amount of reps and sets I mentioned before. Using lots of weight with fewer reps and sets is more beneficial than many reps and sets with low weight, because you are providing more resistance, which will work your muscles harder, building muscle faster.

You need to use fewer reps and sets, about 3-5 each, with this larger amount of weight. This means more weight in less time! You will see many more benefits from this, rather than from the slow workouts with low weight, with high rep and set counts.

To shorten up your time even more, use compound exercises. However, if you don’t go to the gym because you are scared you’re not ready, begin your workout at home. Pushups, pull ups, chin ups, and mountain climbers are examples of a few exercises, which you don’t need much equipment for, and you can still use these to exercise to build muscle.

To prevent pain and aching, reduce your rep and set count, while increasing your weight.

A shorter time while you exercise to build muscle will still be beneficial, as long as you are lifting a good amount of weight and performing exercises that work many muscles at once.

There’s no doubt that the modern field of paternity testing specifically and dna testing in general has come a long way in the last few years. There are composed of a number of different types of muscles of our arms. Of these kinds of muscles, triceps are the ones employed when moving the arms. As the name implies, triceps are comprised with three main muscles. Heavy work load uplift is helped by triceps. Well developed triceps are most important characteristic of powerfull arms. That is why so many people are seen doing military presses, bench presses and any other triceps exercises to develop lean and strong triceps.

Strengthening your triceps will make your arms stronger, in addition to developing a more aesthetic appearance. This is because the muscle takes 2/3 of the entire length of your arm. To end up having well rounded and proportionally developed arms and you also need to work out your biceps to end.

Simple triceps work out include push ups, dumbbell exercises and rope pull downs. Before doing any of these, remember to have a proper warm up. Warming up is crucial to ensuring great exercise results, it basically prepares the body to the physical demands of doing certain exercises, which minimizes the chance of injuries.

Toning up of muscles of triceps is achieved by push ups. Using dumbbells for load or increased body resistance helps in intensifying any form of triceps exercise. Improved exercises are done for strengthening of uppr and lower triceps. For mass, heavy weights such as the close-grip barbell bench and weighted dips may be used. Dips and cable pressdown exercises can be useful for someone who wants to strengthen his upper triceps. For building lower triceps, weighted dips and dips was found to be effective, intensify the exercise by only going 3/4 of the way up force to fully concentrate on the lower triceps.

For getting good result for triceps building you should start while you are fresh. By supersetting triceps exercises, one can have an Olympia-quality arm. Usually, it is harder to build bigger triceps. It is the key to achieving well-proportioned body building results, as according to the priorty principle of body building, targeting first the-hard-to-workout muscles.

Triceps strengthening also depends on eating a proper diet, receiving the proper nutrition and getting an adequate amount of rest. Diet is very important in exercise in order to go on with the demanding exercises. Exercise and nutrition is like science and fitness working together in achieving ideal results. To achieve long-term gains in weight training, you need an equal balance of exercise, rest and a well-balanced diet.

When you see someone in the street drinking something out of a brown paper bag, you automatically assume that they are drinking alcohol, although it is difficult to pin point back to when it actually took off. We can though confirm that the ideology of alcoholism dates back to 1849 when Magnus Huss first linked the consumption of alcohol to serious health conditions.

The word alcoholism itself was not actually recognized in the US until the late 1930s, through the formation of the alcohol support group known as Alcoholics Anonymous or AA as it is sometimes referred to. AA does not actually give alcoholism a concrete definition, but recognizes it as something between an allergy and an illness with a team support method of accountability and responsibility being a way to control alcoholism.

The first Doctor to classify problems in chronic alcoholics was E. Morton Jellinek from New England. He defined an alcoholic as being a person who through the consumption of such large quantities of alcohol, had resulted in dramatic effects on his or her bodily and or mental health. These changes would also end up affecting the alcoholic’s personal relationships and or their employment capabilities.

He therefore concluded that treatment was necessary and nothing much has changed since then except that the definition has been slightly altered by a number of medical affiliations. The word alcoholism is currently referred to by the American Medical Association as a particular chronic primary disease.

Some in the medical profession like Herbert Fingarette and Stanton Peele who really fall into the minority will not class alcoholism as a disease and it is more common for critics of the disease theory to classify the harmful effects of alcohol consumption as a result of heavy drinking.

So the definition of alcoholism remains an uncertainty meaning that it is extremely hard to detect, especially as there isn’t much to separate an alcoholic from a person who just drinks on regular basis. I am afraid that this debate will just have to continue and if you want to participate in finding a solution then you need to investigate what is going on over at the stopdrinking.org blog as this seems to be the only place which is putting an effort at all into finding the answer.
