Simple weight loss diet plans seem to have been forgotten these days! These days, diet plans are ranked more on celebrity endorsements or clever gimmicks rather than common sense. But you know what? You really can’t go past a simple weight loss diet plan if you want a long term solution to excess weight that you can trust to work .

The best approach to understanding why a simple weight loss diet is the best way to lose excess weight is to first understand why we get fat in the first place. Food is used as fuel by our bodies to make energy to do work and function properly. Trouble is, when we eat more food than we need energy, our bodies go into “safe” mode, saving the energy for use if there is an energy shortage in the future. Unfortunately, this storage system is body FAT!

The reason why simple weight loss diets work is that they harness the weight loss equation and use it to cause good weight loss. Enough food is allowed each day for good nutrition and to ensure all the body’s daily requirements are met whilst at the same time body activity is increased. This results in the body needing to convert stored fat back to energy to supply the energy needed for extra activity, and of course also results in significant weight loss!

3. They do not involve paying large amounts of money for expensive gym equipment

4. Lastly, they do not use Hollywood celebrities or gimmicks to promote their brand name.

A simple weight loss diet will, however, :

* Base your daily eating plan on a healthy well balanced calorie count

* Allow you to make choices as to what you eat and when

* Allow you to make your own informed decisions about the food you eat based on information the plan supplies

* Help you to monitor and increase your daily activities so that you burn more calories than you supply through food

* Support and motivate you along your weight loss journey using diet specific resources and information.

* Are affordable and not over priced

* Give you the confidence to take control of your weight loss plan and allow you to do this from home, in privacy.

Despite what the papers may say, there really is no easy fix for overweight. In truth, the only safe and proven way to lose healthy weight is a simple weight loss diet plan based on scientific facts. There are many gimmicks out there, don’t allow them to fool you and take your money as well! A safe and simple weight loss diet is best every time.

Weight loss is estimated to be a 65 billion dollar industry this year with overweight people being enticed to part with their hard earned money on the promise of the next sure thing to make them slim almost overnight! However if you are really serious about weight loss the safest course of action you can take is to follow a simple weight loss diet, secure in the knowledge that it will work and you will not hurt your health by following it.
